  • Mark Williams had to endure 73 minutes of one of the most bizarre frames of professional snooker ever seen before finally overcoming Aditya Mehta at the Welsh Open.
    Welshman Williams was eventually able to celebrate a 4-3 victory on Wednesday night to remain in the tournament by St. David's Day - but not before the third frame produced some of the strangest snooker imaginable.
    With Mehta leading 91-21, a freakish run of the balls left five reds and the black surrounding one pocket.
